Sherlock Holmes and the Mystery of Boscombe Pool【Book Review #9】

'Everything points to the fact that the young man is guilty, does it not?' I said. 'The facts are not always what they seem,' answered Holmes. Charles McCarthy have been dead. He died near Boscombe Pool and had blood on his hand. Young Patience Moran saw Mr McCathey and James, who is his son, shouting by the lake. It seemed that they were quarreling. James was so angry and he was lifting his arm. I thought that the facts were clear to me, and James was a murderer. But, Holmes wasn't thinking like me. At first look, it seems an easy case, which makes many trouble... The story doesn't finish as I expected. The last part of this story will surprise you... Doyle, Konnan, Arthur. (1999).  Sherlock Holmes and the Mystery of Boscombe Pool .  England: Peason Education.

THE CLIENT【Book Review #8】

'There is a body on the old road behind Tucker Trailer Park on Highway 17,' he said.(p.4) One day, Mark who is a boy at 11, are smoking with Ricky, his friend. Then, One car comes around them and one man driving the car tries to commit suicide. The man, Mr. Clifford, is a lawyer of Barry, who is a member of the Mafia. Barry killed a senator, which leads Mr. Clifford to be tortured by a sense of guilty. Mark and Ricky try stopping his suicide but can't. They have known the secret...  Reggie comes to Mark and support him as his lawyer. They are solving the accident... I think this is a normal and interesting mystery story, and easy to read. I'm interested in the part that Mark and Reggie are quarreling each other but trying solving the accident. I got the idea, w hat the meaning of the Client is. Grisham, John. (1999). THE CLIENT.  England: Peason Education.
