(p.24) The story is about an island, Tanakuatua, where one millionaire plans to build an utopia. The narrator, who lost his wife and daughter in a car accident, volunteers for a position as one of the "pioneers". The settlers little realize the island is inhabited by deadly spiders. Radiation from nuclear tests gave the spiders' evolution more and more. While reading, I was really afraid of what would happen suddenly. So what really happened that night? Why did the ship hit an iceberg? Why didn’t another ship save the passengers? How many people survived, and how many died? I suppose some of you know and have watched the great movie, Titanic. Titanic is known for the most famous ship which many people think of the sunk ship. In this book, you are going to find the answers to the cause. After reading this book, I thought it would make better to watch the movie. He was tall and his dark face was serious. His clothes were made from animals skins. His long, black hair was tied back. In it, he wore one tall feather.(p.1)  I've heard his name, Grey Owl, many times. However, I didn't know much about him. So I choose this book to learn what he did in his life and wants us to do in the future.  Grey Owl is the most famous North American Indian in the world. He managed to save his land from white people, including the forests and the animals. It is said that he is the last man to prevent nature from decade and being destroyed.  However he had his secret. Not until he died had his secret never been revealed to the world. The secret made me surprised. Grey Owl is, I think, a interesting person. Shipton,  Vicky. (2003). The story didn't sound very exciting at first. 'I went to a factory today,' John said. That paint factory by the river. No, wait, Andrew. Paint factories can be very exciting. They gave me a job there. I'm going to have my own office, a big car, lots of money - in fact, we're going to be rich...!  Mr. Duncan had did successful business of boats with his wife at first. Then they borrowed too much money to build bigger and better boats, and his wife passed away. After that, he closed his business. He has one daughter and one son to raise and he has to get enough money to raise them, but he is too old to get a new job.  One day, A paint factory gave him a good job, with his own office, a big car and lots of money.
